Splash. The water filtration brand, Brita has signed a new face to present their brand and their decision was a good one. Stephen Curry has become the poster boy for the NBA. His exciting play and his genuine good-guy image has taken over the basketball world.
According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, the chief operating officer of Clorox knows Steph’s worth:
“Steph is the total package for us,” said Nick Vlahos, chief operating officer of Clorox, parent company of Brita, which has its headquarters in Oakland, California. “He has the skill on the court, the personality and the family focus, and we think he’ll help us effectively deliver the message.”
Curry has become the first celebrity spokesman for the brand. Add Brita to the list which includes: Under Armour and tech start-up, CoachUp. The Warriors are rolling and they’re following Curry’s lead. The reigning regular season MVP is leading the league in scoring and has already skipped 7 fourth quarters (when the Warriors lead comfortably). More than a quarter way through the season, the Warriors are the favorites to win it all again.
