Being a champion does have its perks. This Sunday, Festus Ezeli is scheduled to throw out the first pitch for the Oakland A’s. His teammate Harrison Barnes was invited to throw the first pitch last night against the Seattle Mariners.

The Bay Area’s other baseball team had already brought Ezeli in to throw out the ceremonious first pitch. At At&t Park, Ezeli took the mound and threw it down to the Giant:

With so many disastrous first pitches, Ezeli was glad to avoid embarrassing himself like 50 Cent did. Getting the jitters out, we’re rooting for Ezeli to do better at the Athletics game on Sunday.
Accompanied by James Michael McAdoo, Ezeli is like a rockstar. Often times, we see Ezeli as the enforcer and rim protector. Going behind the scenes shows a joking and casual side of the big man. After signing autographs at Tanforan Mall, Ezeli continues to be a fan favorite attraction.
