Today was supposed to be a day to celebrate the Warriors for winning the NBA championship. Dub Nation deserve this parade after all they years they’ve suffered as fans of mediocre teams. They finally have a team that is the best in the NBA and hopefully this is the first of many titles.

While most fans were on their best behavior today, there is always a few bad apples who ruin it for everyone. Instead of celebrating, seeing the Warriors, and hearing what they have to say, there has been an incident near Lake Merritt. According to KTVU, somebody was reportedly shot during the championship parade:

The details have not been released, but this is definitely concerning considering the amount of people at the event. It looks like it was an isolated incident because the event is still going on as scheduled. Lake Merritt is in the center of Oakland, close to downtown.

The update came in and apparently three people were shot away from the Warriors Champioship parade. It seems like this had nothing to do with the parade itself. We will have more details as they come along, so make sure you stay tuned with WarriorsWorld.
