The Cavs played a great Game 1 and had plenty of opportunities to win this ball game, but just came up a bit short. Kyrie Irving had to leave during the overtime period and was visibly upset after suffering yet another injury.
It turns out the Cavs lost more than just the first game of the series. According to Ben Golliver of Sports Illustrated, Irving sustained a fractured knee cap, which will require season-ending surgery:

This is devastating news for the Cavaliers and basketball fans in general. Game 1 was an incredible game to watch and it was great to see Irving look like himself for almost the entire game. He made key plays on both ends of the floor and the Cavs looked like a real threat.
As competitors, you want to beat the best and the Cavs will not be the same without Irving. The Warriors were already the favorites with Irving in the lineup, now they can turn all their focus to LeBron James.
Expect the King to come out with a vengeance in Game 2, he will have to put this team on his back in order to even up this series.
