Twitter is a powerful platform. If you want to be the first to find out about the latest breaking news, Twitter is the place to be. In this day and age, if you don’t have a twitter account then you are not keeping up with the times.

Twitter also allows you to connect with your favorite athletes and celebrities. If you’re lucky, sometimes they will respond to you in front of the world. Now, you can even attempt to get a question answered from the most powerful man on earth.
President Barack Obama is now on Twitter and after the Warriors beat the Rockets in Game 5, one particular follower asked if J.R. Smith could out shoot Steph Curry. The President gave a presidential answer, but still made it clear that Curry is the best shooter on the planet and it’s not close:
.@NathenVieira jr smith having a great season but the heart of the Cavs is Lebron. And no one can outshoot Curry – maybe Korver if wide open
— President Obama (@POTUS) May 28, 2015
First, why would you ask such a ridiculous question. Don’t get me wrong, Smith is a good shooter, but Curry is on another level and it’s not close. In the nicest way possible, President Obama acknowledged that Curry is simply the best shooter and only Kyle Korver can challenge him, if he was wide open.
Curry is reaching levels of popularity that even he could have not imagined. If Curry and the Warriors are able to beat LeBron James and the Cavs, Curry will get another chance to chat with the President of the United States. This time, his teammates and coaches will be with him to enjoy the White House.
