Being a Warriors fan has never been better. After decades of ineptness and forgetful basketball, the team has become an NBA powerhouse and are poised for a magical run through the NBA playoffs. For Warriors fans, this almost feels too good to be true. If you ask any rational Warriors fan about their team ever winning a Championship they would tell you it seemed like a pipe-dream.
With a dedicated Owner in Joe Lacob, young hot-shot head coach Steve Kerr and a team led by Steph Curry, the Warriors are the hottest thing in the Bay Area (and the NBA). Watching a Warriors game is entertainment at its finest as they play an exhilarating style of basketball which has fans and haters on the edge of their seats all game long. There’s at least 5-6 moments each game where the Warriors will cause a grown man to stand up, yell and dance after what he just witnessed on the court.
Being in the midst of a magical season, you never want to miss any of the action let alone an entire game because you never know if this type of season will happen again. Being able to watch every game and never feeling left out is why the Slingbox M1 is so awesome. The Warriors have arguable the strongest fan-base in the league with a heavy presence at every road game along with selling out Oracle Arena for every home game. Warriors fans also have busy lives as living in the Bay Area means there’s always something going on whether its work, kids, activities, social events, conferences, etc.
Being able to watch a game while traveling or at my kid’s basketball practice is huge because I don’t want to rely on shaky wi-fi or bad streams to watch the Warriors play. Being able to utilize my Slingbox and have a smooth experience is vital to my enjoyment. Allows me to not miss an early road-game if I’m still at the office, makes my lay-overs to quicker and most importantly it allows me to never miss any of the action.
I recently was in Chicago and headed to a local Sportsbar to hopefully watch the Warriors-Pistons game. I was fully aware of the fact that I was going to be the only person in the establishment with any desire to watch that game. Not surprisingly, the Warriors-Pistons game wasn’t on any of the TV’s. Luckily, all I had to do was open up my Slingbox app to watch the game on my phone. The only thing more clutch than my Slingbox might be Steph Curry.
With the playoffs right around the corner, it’s more important than ever to not miss a single game. The Warriors are legitimate title contenders for the first time in my life and thanks to Slingbox I won’t miss a single moment of the action.
