The Golden State Warriors have won 10 games in a row, with their last win coming against the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center. In case you were living under a rock, Steph Curry embarrassed Chris Paul and the memes have not stopped since.
Today the Warriors return home to Oracle Arena to face the Phoenix Suns. While the Warriors have locked up the number one seed in the West, they still want to go into the playoffs with some momentum.
The main focus should be to stay healthy and work on all the little things before the real season starts.
Check out our instant recap here:
1st Quarter
The Suns got on the board first and Klay Thompson responded with a triple to give the Warriors the one point lead. Beyond that, the Warriors went cold and they only scored four points in the first five minutes. Andrew Bogut was making his presence felt on the defensive end. The Warriors finally got some offense going with some easy buckets and they took the lead. They went on a 14-3 run and it was Bogut, David Lee and Harrison Barnes leading the charge. Curry hit a triple with about three minutes left, but Eric Bledsoe responded right back and it was a three point Warrior lead. Lee and Marreese Speights ended the quarter with a bucket each and the Dubs led 27-22.

They went on a 9-0 run to start the quarter and suddenly they had a double digit lead. The Suns finally got on the board after an official timeout and they started trading baskets. Eric Bledsoe scored five points in a row to to bring the lead down to eight, but players like Livingston were able to knock down some shots to protect the lead. Gerald Green scored five in a row with about two minutes left in the quarter and the lead was cut to five points. Curry scored five of his own to end the first half and the Dubs went into the break with an 11 point game.

3rd Quarter
The Suns started off hot in the second half and the Warriors could not buy basket. The Suns went on a 9-2 run and Phoenix was within striking distance. The Suns could not miss and they scored at will. Curry kept the Warriors alive and scored eight points to barely keep the lead safe. A Tucker bucket got the Suns within one, but the Warriors responded with four straight free throws. The Suns came right back to get the lead back down to one after Eric Bledsoe scored two points and assisted on another bucket. The second unit then started to take over the game and Barbosa finished with five points to end the third. The Suns scored too, but they found themselves down six going into the final period.
