The Golden State Warriors are on a two game skid and surprisingly this is the third time it happens this season. The Warriors are still 36-8 and they have the best record in the Western Conference, but the Atlanta Hawks are officially the owners of the best record in the league.
The Warriors lost a tough battle to the Chicago Bulls, but the loss to the Jazz is concerning. They have been blowing teams out, but they were outplayed for 48 minutes and Andrew Bogut is not happy with his own performance. According to Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle, he believes this is the worst game he’s played all year:
Andrew Bogut: "“This was the worst game I’ve played all year. I didn’t have energy, didn’t feel good rhythm and just couldn’t get it going."

The Jazz do have an athletic and big front line, so Bogut had his hands full. The Warriors lost the battle on the boards 55-41 and the Jazz were able to capitalize with second chance points. Bogut only had four points and four rebounds, but defensively he had trouble with the Utah big men.
Bogut had been dealing with the flu, so that could explain why he didn’t look like himself. The Australian center is expected to protect the rim and that didn’t happen last night. However, Bogut is owning up to it and he should come out with a lot of energy tonight against a dangerous Suns team.
The sky isn’t falling, but the Warriors need to continue to win, they need to try and hold on to the top seed in the West and assure themselves home court advantage in the postseason.
