The Warriors have a grueling four game home stand coming up and it starts tonight when they host the Toronto Raptors. This will be a great test for the Dubs to measure themselves against some of the NBA’s best.
Their last home game before they hit the road again will be against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Before you get excited, it looks like they will be without the King. According to Monte Poole of CSN Bay Area, LeBron James will not make the trip with the team to California:
For #Warriors fans targeting 1/9 at Oracle Arena, there will be no LeBron. He’s scheduled to miss Cavs’ trip to California next week.

This was definitely one of the most anticipated home games of the season. LeBron James is the best player on the planet and seeing him go up against Steph Curry for a night would have been amazing. The two leading vote getters for the All-Star Game are popular for a reason, they are special and you never know what they have in store.
Let’s not forget what LeBron James did the last time he was at Oracle Arena. He scored 36 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists, but he saved his best for last. The Warriors were up two and only about 11-12 seconds were left in the game and James received the ball with Andre Iguodala on him. LeBron dribbled the ball to wind down the clock and went to his left, he pulled up from beyond the three point line and knocked down the shot with Iguodala’s hand in his face.
At least the Warriors don’t have to worry about him hitting another game winner, but it’s a shame Dub Nation won’t get to see him play on January 9th.
