Golden State Warriors v Los Angeles Lakers

Last night the Warriors defeated the Sacramento Kings and headed south to take on the Los Angeles Lakers. Los Angeles opted to give Kobe Bryant rest and he sat out this game. The Lakers proved to be more than a handful as the Warriors’ sloppy had them down at the half. In case you missed the game, we have you covered:

1st Quarter

The Warriors went to their usual line up with Festus Ezeli manning the center position. Without Kobe in, the Lakers came to play with some energy. Ezeli began aggressively and had four early points to lead the Warriors big men. The Lakers were hot but the Warriors continued to trade baskets. The Warriors are lacking energy and the Warriors found themselves down 34-24 after one quarter. Steph has 7 points on an efficient 3-4 shooting.

2nd Quarter

The quarter began slowly as both teams missed their first 10 shots combined (Warriors 0-3). At the timeout, the Warriors only got points off two Livingston free throws as the Warriors faced a 37-26 deficit. The Warriors have struggled without Klay and Curry on the floor. Sloppy play had the Warriors trailing by 14 points. Thompson got going by knocking back to back trey balls from opposite sides of the floor. Turnovers and missed layups hurt the Warriors badly. At the half, Warriors down 15; 63-48.
