Since Magic Johnson left ESPN’s NBA coverage at the beginning of the 2013-14 season, Johnson hasn’t had the opportunity to express himself about the current state of the NBA.
After watching the Warriors beat the Oklahoma City Thunder, Johnson shared his opinion on the Dubs with his 2.4 million followers. This is what he had to say:
Watching Golden State beat OKC last night, the Warriors are a serious threat to win the West and the NBA Championship.

You must take his comments with a grain of salt, Johnson’s tweets sound automated at times and when he’s not too busy ripping Jim Buss, he likes to share his opinion about the NBA. How does he find time to watch basketball? I don’t know, Johnson is so busy with all his business ventures that it’s doubtful he has the time to really dissect a basketball team.
Not sure if this was Johnson’s way of jinxing the Warriors, but the former Laker great is probably jealous of the Dubs with the Lakers experiencing one of their worst seasons in franchise history. The five time NBA champion has a point, the Warriors are the real deal and hopefully he will be tweeting about them as they play in June.
I’ll be damned, Magic!
How the hell is Magic still alive after the whole HIV thing in early 90s? This just shows if you have MONEYSSSS you get access to best MEDICINE
Magic is probably too busy buying various baseball players to try and catch the Giants. I hope the Giants continue to win championships, while Magic and the Dodgers blow money in payroll and lose playoff games to the Cardinals.
