The Golden State Warriors welcomed the Orlando Magic to the Oracle Arena. Before the game, the “Splash Brothers” were questionable to play but eventually suited up and started in an effort to extend the win streak to 10 games. Unfortunately for the Magic, they would be without their leading scorer and rebounder Nikola Vucevic. In case you missed the game, we have you covered:
1st Quarter
Besides Andrew Bogut’s free throws, the Warriors’ first five shots from the field all came from behind the arc. Draymond Green headed to the lockers after falling into the courtside cameramen. Klay Thompson found Bogut for a thunderous alley-oop to bring the Warriors within five points. The Magic were competitive and kept the game tight. After one quarter, Orlando held a 25-24 lead behind Oladipo’s 9 points.

2nd Quarter
After leaving to the locker room with an apparent hand injury, Draymond returned to the floor at the start of the quarter. Speights is a making a living with his midrange jumper. Thompson has been making his presence felt with good passing; halfway through the quarter, he had more assists than points (4:3). Both “Splash Brothers” have been quiet to this point. Barnes has been effective on both ends and dropped in back to back scores to give the Warriors a five point cushion after being tied at 42. Momentum started to ride with the Warriors are Curry found Green on a beautiful pass through the defense for an easy score. At the half, Barnes nearly had a double-double with 13 points and 8 boards as the Dubs led 56-46.
