This current Warriors team has the entire Bay Area fans optimistic. After three games, Golden State remained undefeated defeating the Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, and Portland Trail Blazers. In those matchups, the opponents noticed something different. The offense is no longer stagnant as it was once was under former head coach, Mark Jackson.

The Warriors’ largest acquisition this summer has been Coach Kerr. Kerr and assistant Alvin Gentry have implemented an offensive system to make all five players on court a threat. The emphasis placed on an uptempo offense has forced defenders scrambling when the basketball is passed around.
The offense has allowed their center, Andrew Bogut to bring the ball up court which makes both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson an even more dangerous threat. Both players possess the ability to catch the ball of screens for quick shot attempts. Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group has quoted Draymond Green on what he has heard from the opposition:
Draymond Green said he has heard opponents remark, “Man, y’all move the ball so much!”

The Warriors have played great team basketball to this point. With each player filling a role, the Warriors will continue to be difficult to beat.
Thompson and Curry have elevated their game and left all NBA fans with a lasting impression. In the victory of the Lakers, Thompson and Curry combined for 72 points as Thompson set a new career high with 41. In this case, great fundamental basketball has the Warriors looking towards bringing another championship to the Bay Area.
