No. 9 – Managing of the Minutes
Kerr was quick to change things up when he got to the Bay Area. His first big move was inserting Harrison Barnes into the starting line-up and moving Andre Iguodala to the bench. At first, some were skeptical of his decision, but after 23 games we know it was the right decision.
Barnes has thrived as a starter and his confidence is sky high. It was an adjustment for Iguodala, but the veteran understood the reasoning behind Kerr’s decision and has accepted his new role on this team.
Kerr has also managed the minutes of Steph & Klay very well. He’s making sure he doesn’t wear them out and has them fresh for the post-season. This team is deep and Kerr has developed a good and fair rotation.
Great. Now this site is turning into another one of those “click to see next page” garbages? If you want to give us a list, just give it to us – enough with the nonsense.
Great stuff! His ability to substitute is what I am most impressed with. MJax was terrible; he would constantly sub 3 to4 players…no continuity, it drove me crazy!
nellie was a master of this, waiting for a steel cage match with Joey Crawford…
